Fr. Henry was born on September 25, 1963 in Obinomba (Umukwata) Ukwani Local Government Area of Delta State. His parent, Mr. Johnson Nmor and Alice Nmor, were blessed with ten children, five boys and five girls. He is the first child of his parents. His family was a struggling one. He attended Abadina Primary School, Ibadan and Obiaruku Grammar School, Obiaruku, in Delta State. He later joined the Order of preachers (Dominicans) in 1988. He was trained at the Catholic Major Seminary of Saints Peter and Paul, Ibadan, University of Ibadan, and Ubaniana University, Rome. He finished with degrees in Philosophy and Theology from the two universities. He was ordained a Catholic Priest on December 7th, 1996.
